This report examines the implementation and early results of Sierra Leone’s School Leadership Programme, a competency-based professional development initiative designed to strengthen school leadership, safety, inclusion, teaching, and learning. Drawing on survey and interview data from school leaders, teachers, and programme mentors, the study finds reported improvements in inclusive practices, positive discipline, lesson observation, teacher support, and school improvement, while identifying considerations for future scale-up and sustainability.
